Our doctors join us from a wide array of career paths—straight out of school,
a residency or a specialty program, moving from another town or state, filling in
extra days while building a private practice, leaving private practice or moving
from other dental companies.
Our doctors are graduates of the finest dental schools around the country as well
as the top dental schools around the world. Depending on experience, our doctors
start first as Associates and receive expert training in all aspects of general
dentistry and one-on-one supervision to ensure mastery.
Advancement training is also offered and encouraged while on the job. With experience
and demonstrated excellence, an Associate will advance to Managing Doctor and take
on responsibility for the entire office, including management of all Associate doctors
and office staff. Managing Doctors who demonstrate excellence in quality and operations
can then advance to larger offices in the Western Dental family. Greater responsibilities
bring greater personal and financial rewards. Since every one of Western Dental's
140 Centers has a Managing Doctor, there are tremendous opportunities for advancement.

more offices, are appointed from among our most successful Managing Doctors. Our
Operations Directors work closely with our corporate executives and supervise Managing
