A Career With Us - Our Doctors

Our doctors join us at all levels - straight out of school, from private practice, and from other dental companies. Our doctors have degrees from dental schools around the country, including California of course, and all over the world. Depending on experience, our doctors start first as Associates and undergo intense focused training and supervision in all aspects of general dentistry. Specialty training is also offered and encouraged on the job. With experience and demonstrated excellence, an Associate can advance to Managing Doctor and take responsibility for all doctors and staff of an office. Managing Doctors who demonstrate excellence in quality and operations can advance to bigger and bigger offices in the Western Dental family, and thus assume greater responsibilities with opportunities for greater personal and financial rewards. Every office has a Managing Doctor, thus offering tremendous opportunities among the more than 140 Western Dental Centers throughout California and Arizona. From among our most successful Managing Doctors who are interested in even greater management opportunities, we appoint Operations Directors - doctors responsible for oversight of a dozen or more offices. Our Operations Directors work closely with our corporate executives, and are responsible for the oversight and supervision of our Managing Doctors and their offices, in their pursuit of excellent care and excellent operations.
