ORANGE, Calif., August 15, 2018 – Western Dental, one of the nation’s largest dental providers and the largest provider of dental services in California, announced today another pediatric dental office will join the Western Dental Kids family.
Formerly Kid Smiles, the popular converted office is located in the Whittwood Town Center at 15634 Whittwood Lane in Whittier, Calif.
The Whittier location was part of the Children’s Dental Group offices acquired by Western Dental late last year. All eight Children’s Dental offices will be converted to Western Dental Kids by year end, along with another 14 Kids Dental Kare offices recently acquired. All Western Dental Kids locations accept most forms of dental insurance, including Medi-Cal Dental.
“Pediatric dentistry is a very important and rapidly growing area for Western Dental,” said Dr. John Luther, Chief Dental Officer. “With our focus on Western Dental Kids throughout the state, we’re expanding access to care for thousands of California kids, including services like fluoride treatments, dental sealants to help prevent cavities, and a full-service orthodontics department.”
The Whittier office transformation includes exterior signage, new interior colors and a renovated office design with bright, fun graphics.

An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony is planned.
