ORANGE, Calif., August 8, 2018 – Western Dental, one of the nation’s largest dental providers and the largest provider of dental services in California, announced today the launch of its pediatric dentistry brand, Western Dental Kids, starting with its inaugural Western Dental Kids office in downtown Modesto.
The office, located at 1705 Prescott Road, accepts all forms of insurance, including Medi-Cal Dental. Western Dental also has three traditional offices in Modesto.
The newly redesigned office has been transformed from an existing Western Dental office into a colorful, kid-friendly space for children and their parents. The Modesto office will serve as a prototype for Western Dental Kids offices scheduled to open throughout the balance of the year, including 22 recently acquired pediatric dental offices which will assume the Western Dental Kids name.
“Children have special dental needs, and our Western Dental Kids offices will provide them with quality dental care in a safe, fun and professional environment,” said Dr. John Luther, Chief Dental Officer. “Parents can feel assured their children will receive the highest level of pediatric dental care at Western Dental Kids.”
Modesto-Prescott and all Western Dental Kids offices are staffed with doctors specializing in pediatric dentistry, Board-eligible orthodontists and a team of professionals experienced in working with children. Pediatric dental services include sealants to help prevent cavities, fluoride treatments and a full-service orthodontics department.

A special two-day event that’s open to the public is slated for Sept. 7-8, including a VIP reception and ribbon-cutting ceremony and an open house with entertainment, toys and refreshments.
