ORANGE, Calif., July 9, 2018 – Western Dental, one of the nation’s largest dental providers, announced today it has purchased the SmileCare dental office in Stockton.
The acquisition is the second SmileCare office purchased from Coast Dental Services Inc. in recent weeks. In late June, it purchased the downtown Modesto office at 2900 Standiford Ave.
Western Dental now has a total of 196 offices in the state, including 24 dedicated pediatric dentistry and orthodontic offices.
“We are excited about the addition of this thriving practice to the Western Dental family,” said Dr. John Luther, Chief Dental Officer. “The SmileCare acquisition enhances our already strong presence in Stockton and the surrounding Central Valley region.”
At nearly 6,000 square feet, the office has 14 patient treatment rooms, three digital x-ray machines and multiple orthodontic chairs. In addition to general dentistry and orthodontics, the office provides a full range of specialty dentistry and oral hygiene services, making it a true “dental home.”
