SAN JOSE, Calif., October 16, 2019 – Western Dental & Orthodontics, one of the nation’s leaders in accessible, affordable oral healthcare and the leading orthodontics provider in the country, today announced a partnership with the Mexican Consulate to conduct health fairs in conjunction with Binational Health Week at two Western Dental locations in Santa Clara county.
The health fairs will be held at the Western Dental location in San Jose from 10 a.m. to noon on October 18th at 1110 S. King Rd. and from 10 a.m. to noon on October 19th across the street at the Western Dental Kids location at 1153 S. King Rd.
In addition to the Mexican Consulate, other participants include the Santa Clara Family Health Plan, Santa Clara Office of Education Early Head Start Program and Anthem.
Since 2001, Binational Health Week events have run through the entire month of October in both Mexico and California to highlight health issues that affect migrants. Binational Health Week is celebrated in every Mexican consulate throughout the state. Activities also take place in other states such as Texas, New York, Arizona and Illinois.
