What you should know about ClearArc®  invisible aligners & clear braces

What are invisible aligners (i.e. ClearArc®  , Invisalign) ?

Often referred to as “Invisalign”, which was the first aligner brand on the market, orthodontic aligners are a removable, virtually invisible solution to straighter teeth. Treatment entails a series of clear, custom-made trays that gradually move your teeth into alignment. ClearArc® aligners are priced 40% less than other leading brands and are available exclusively at Western Dental by trained orthodontists.

How do ClearArc® Orthodontic Aligners work?

Aligners are clear plastic trays that snap over your teeth. You wear them for 18-20 hours a day, removing them when you eat and when you brush and floss your teeth. Your personal Orthodontist will provide you with a series of clear trays that you’ll change out every few weeks.  Your teeth will gradually move to their new position over the course of approximately 20 sets of aligners.

What makes ClearArc® aligners different from other aligners on the market?

Unlike some other aligner brands, ClearArc® aligners straighten all your teeth (not just the front few) and treatment is always overseen by your own qualified, trained orthodontist. In addition, the proprietary ClearWear™ material is crystal clear, stain-resistant and custom-made for contoured fit, reducing the need for multiple attachments and making them extremely comfortable and virtually invisible.

How do clear braces work?

Clear braces are good for people who are looking for an alternate to metal brackets to straighten their teeth. They use the same technique to shift your smile as standard metal braces, except the brackets are less noticeable. Your orthodontist will adjust them every 4-6 weeks until you have the smile you always wanted.

How to choose?

Your Western Dental orthodontist is trained to evaluate your alignment, bite and jaw.  At your free consultation, the doctor will discuss your lifestyle and goals and help you make the choice that will ensure the best results.
