The 14 Smile Wide offices are located in the Southern California cities of Anaheim, Bellflower, Carson, Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Irvine, Loma Linda, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Lynwood, Riverside, and Van Nuys.

“Through this acquisition, we are helping to preserve access to dental care for thousands of children who are patients of these Southern California offices,” said Daniel D. Crowley, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Western Dental. “Our goal is to have more locations where we can offer families a complete continuum of high quality dental services to preserve and restore their oral health. Western Dental is built on our core belief that everyone should have access to convenient, affordable, high-quality dentistry, including those covered by Denti-Cal. These Smile Wide offices will help us bring this mission to more people, especially children, who make up a significant part of their patient population.”

Mr. Crowley continued: “The steps we've taken these past two years to strengthen our organization and build the right leadership team are setting us up for a great future. This is our first acquisition in more than 10 years, and it adds to our strong presence in Southern California.

“We're building Western Dental into a general dentistry powerhouse that includes an industry-leading orthodontic practice, state-of-the-art soft tissue management, and a complete offering of convenient, best-in-class specialty and dental implant services, conveniently under one roof. It’s a great place for dentists to practice dentistry, for staff to work, and for patients to get dental care.

“We welcome with open arms the fine people of Smile Wide to our family,” Mr. Crowley said. “Our goal at Western Dental is to be the gold standard of quality dentistry, while creating access to affordable dental care for everyone.”
